Vremya Strizhki Pin Publisher

An internal content tool of «Время стрижки» (Vremya Strizhki, “Haircut Time”) — a chain of 13 haircut salons and barbershops in Ivanovo, Russia (cuttingtime.ru). It publishes the chain’s own photos and inspiration content to our own Pinterest business account.

What the app does

Publishes our PinsCreates Pins from photos of haircuts made by our stylists (with the client’s consent) and from our own brand graphics, with a description and a link to our booking page.
Keeps boards organizedCreates and maintains boards of our account by topic: men’s haircuts, women’s haircuts, kids’ haircuts, beard styling, colour, seasonal ideas.
Reads our own contentLists our boards and Pins to avoid duplicates and to reuse our published Pins on our website and in our social media.

Who uses it

Only the marketing staff of Vremya Strizhki. The app works with exactly one Pinterest account — the chain’s own business account — which our team authorizes via the standard Pinterest OAuth flow. It is not offered to other Pinterest users, does not read or collect data of other users, does not scrape Pinterest, and does not automate engagement (no automated following, liking, commenting or messaging).

How it works

  1. A team member signs in to Pinterest and grants the app access to our business account (scopes: user_accounts:read, boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, pins:write).
  2. Our server stores the access token securely and uses the Pinterest API v5 to create boards and Pins from content prepared by our team.
  3. Publishing volume is small (a few Pins per day) and every Pin links back to our own website.

Content rules

We publish only content we own: photos taken in our salons with written consent of the people shown, and graphics created by our designers. We follow the Pinterest Community Guidelines, Developer Guidelines and Merchant & Advertising Guidelines.
